Dr Shenghong He
Shenghong He graduated with a D.Phil. in Engineering from the South China University of Technology, China, in December 2017. His graduate work involved developing real-time brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) using electroencephalography and electrooculography.
In May 2018, Shenghong joined Prof Huiling Tan’s Group as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist, focusing on exploring the pathophysiology of various movement disorders, including Parkinson's, essential tremor, and gait disturbances. Shenghong has received a Guarantors of Brain Non-Clinical Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2021 and an International Exchanges Award from the Royal Society in 2022. His research focuses on exploring the neural mechanisms of normal and abnormal human brain functions using BCIs.
