Elene Lominadze earned a BSc in Theoretical Physics from University College London (2022) and an MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing from the University of Oxford (2023), where she used tools from mathematics to address problems arising in the life sciences and data science.
In 2024 Elene joined the Bogacz Group as a DPhil student to carry out research at the intersection of computational neuroscience and machine learning. Specifically, she is focusing on predictive coding networks—a biologically plausible learning framework—to understand how artificial neural networks learn in scenarios similar to those faced by the brain, including online and continual learning.
