Postdoctoral Scientist

I joined Peter Brown's Group in November 2018 as a Postdoctoral Scientist. I undertook undergraduate and graduate degrees in finance at Dalhousie University, Canada, before changeing fields to experimental psychology. I then did a Ph.D. degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of Birmingham, where I investigated the neural mechanisms underlying long-term memory formation in humans.

My research at the Unit is focused on the mechanisms underlying human decision making, and the role of the subthalamic nucleus in accumulating information and setting decision thresholds.
